The device collects data
The controller reads sensors, monitors relays and sees how ventilation and watering work.
AI assistant for smart greenhouses
Sols.lv is an open experimental greenhouse control system. The device measures climate, sends data to the dashboard and can also help with seedlings through a connected grow lamp. The AI assistant helps understand what to adjust: temperature, humidity, ventilation, light or watering mode.
Hardware
A separate relay and sensor board can be mounted behind the touchscreen: it connects fans, the water valve, climate sensors and, through configuration, seedling grow light while the screen stays simple for the user.
AI recommendations
First, the AI assistant asks what the user grows and what stage the plants are in. Then it compares sensor data with recommended conditions and helps choose better settings for a specific greenhouse.
The controller reads sensors, monitors relays and sees how ventilation and watering work.
Each project has its own link, for example /d/demo, which can be opened from a phone.
The assistant shows why it is too hot, too humid or why the watering mode may need adjustment.
The project is built as a practical open-source style solution: device, web dashboard, QR-based setup and an AI assistant that helps make sense of the numbers.
